This page explains what information amyschultzauthor.com (the "site") collects, why, and how it is used. The site is operated by Amy Schultz for Not Today, Daughter and the surrounding reader community. If you have questions about this policy, you can reach out through the Connect section of the site.
Information we collect
The site collects personal information only when you choose to provide it, through one of these forms:
- Reader's Guide / community signup — your email address, so the free Reader's Guide PDF and occasional community and devotional updates can be delivered to your inbox.
- Speaking inquiry form — your name, organization, email address, and any phone number, event date, audience size, or message you choose to include, so your speaking request can be reviewed and answered.
The site does not use analytics trackers or advertising pixels, and does not knowingly collect information from children.
How we use your information
- To deliver the Reader's Guide and send occasional updates about the book, devotionals, and the reader community — you may unsubscribe from these at any time using the link in any email.
- To respond to speaking inquiries and coordinate event details.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Third-party services
To operate these forms, the site relies on the following service providers, who process your information on our behalf under their own privacy and security practices:
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — email delivery and list management for the Reader's Guide and community updates.
- Netlify — website hosting and secure processing of the speaking inquiry form submission.
Data retention
Email addresses collected for the Reader's Guide and community updates are kept until you unsubscribe or request removal. Speaking inquiry details are kept as long as needed to respond to and, if applicable, coordinate your event.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from email updates at any time via the link included in every email.
- Request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your information by reaching out through the Connect section.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time as the site and reader community grow. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.
